Our Mission
Our Purpose
KAPAAW is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of Black women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is primarily educational and charitable.
To carry out its mission, we strive to:

Collaborate to accomplish more together,

Maintain a strong sense of community providing a foundation of inclusion to make a greater impact in Kentucky,

Empower Black women which is necessary to create positive, lasting societal changes in Kentucky.

To use the unique power of Black women's leadership abilities to transform communities for the better allowing us to make a collective difference
