As a resource for single black mothers, Irene's Dream will be the premier choice for resources for single black mothers to help them by providing them with resources to decrease and eliminate obstacles and barriers to their overall success to advance professionally.

Our Namesake: Irene Cowan

April 20, 1932  - July 24, 2008

She was a woman who dedicated her life to serving others. She raised her children and grandchildren to praise GOD and care for others with a kind heart and demonstrated this through her years of service at Shiloh Baptist Church. Irene did not have a lot of money to give to others in need but she had a heart of gold. Irene's Dream was established in honor of Irene who helped and supported others.
