Irene’s Dream – Program Description

Irene’s Dream is a free 6‑week psychoeducation and mentorship program designed to support single Black mothers ages 18–25. Hosted by KAPAAW, this program provides a safe, culturally grounded space for young mothers to strengthen emotional wellness, build confidence, and connect with a supportive community.

Participants engage in weekly sessions focused on healing, identity, financial wellness, and healthy relationships. Each mother is paired with a mentor who offers guidance, encouragement, and ongoing support throughout the program.
